The Animal Control Department performs responsible protective service work in the enforcement of ordinances regulating the keeping of dogs and cats within the borough. The Animal Control Officer does not respond to calls involving wildlife and is only responsible for dogs and cats.

Contact the Animal Control Officer if you find a stray dog or cat.

All dog and cat licenses must be obtained by January 31st of each year. Rabies vaccination certificates must be current through November 1st of the licensing year. Dog and cat licenses are issued in the Borough Clerk's Office.
