The Fire Prevention Department provides inspection of business locations to insure fire prevention safety and Smoke Detector, Carbon Monoxide and Fire Extinguisher Inspections for home sales in accordance with the New Jersey State Uniform Fire Codes.
Applications for fire safety permits, smoke detector inspections for home sales, and business registration information can be obtained from the Construction Department on the third floor of Borough Hall.
